Jabu Mahlangu is disappointed that his goal in Sweden at the weekend failed to help his team Osters IF to overcome Torslanda in their League encounter losing 2-1.

Osters needed maximum points against their opponents on Saturday to keep alive their hopes of automatic promotion into a higher League next season.

Mahlangu scored the equaliser just before half time.

'Shuffle' and his teammates will now have to battle it out in the play-offs with teams from other regions in a bid to avoid remaining in same division again next season.

"I am very disappointed with the result. We needed this victory to avoid going to the play-offs.

"I was supposed to come back home soon but now we have to wait until November to finish the play-offs.

"However, despite losing on Saturday, we are still confident to playing in the Second Division next season," Mhlangu told KickOff.com from Sweden.
