But Yusuf in an interview with Trustsports in Abuja shortly before the team's departure to Sudan stated that even though his team will be going into the return leg with five goals in its kitty, there would be no complacency as football is about history.

His words, "We want it to be on record that we defeated Sudan home and away in this competition. Moreover, it is not a crime for us to beat them with a wide margin both at home and away. The spirit in camp is quite high and with God on our side, there will be no stopping us".

According to the coach who doubles as Lobi Stars Head Coach, explained that in as much as the team looks good to progress in the competition, the players have been charged to score as many goals as possible because in football it is not over until it is all over.

Coach Yusuf said that after the 5-0 bashing in Abuja, the Sudanese must have gone back to the drawing board and any attempt to underrate them may spell doom for the Flying Eagles.

The head coach of Lobi Stars of Makurdi disclosed that even as it was hard to arrive at the right combination of players for matches, the coaching crew headed by Ladan Bosso has been able to sort out team selection problem.

Although there have been reports in the media that the Sudanese have concluded arrangements to intimidate and defeat the Eagles of Nigeria, the former Ranchers Bees and Elkanemi Warriors player said going by the atmosphere in camp, there will be no hiding place for their opponents.

The match has been slated for Port Sudan as part of strategies to give the home team maximum advantage over the Flying Eagles of Nigeria.
