Arusha — Benard Saibogi of Arusha is expected to meet renown Dar es Salaam based boxer Rashid Matumla in a middleweight bout on 12 October this year.
Saibogi bragged he would give the Matumla a humiliating defeat to the amazement of boxing fans in Arusha.
Saibogi is training under his coach Abdurahman Baharia who also believed his apprentice would make a boxing name for Arusha after beating Matumla.
Baharia who is also Arusha regional boxing association secretary said, they were planning to identify and train new talents among the youth of Arusha and called on all stakeholders to support other sports such as boxing instead of limiting themselves to soccer only.
