Luanda — The outgoing chairman of the Angola Football Referees Association (AAFA), Severino Filomeno Miranda Cardoso, said lack of harmony with the Central Council was the main hindrance to his ending term.
Speaking to Angop, at the end of the ordinary general assembly, held Saturday in Luanda, Severino Cardoso said that since he was elected for this first term ending on December 8, he has never seen harmony with the Central Council of Angola Football Referees (CCAFA).
"We have never managed to improve our relations with the CCAFA, as at the beginning of the mandate we proposed a protocol that should be signed, but unfortunately this has never happened. This has prevented us from carrying out several tasks of the programme," he stated.
As positive points, Severino Cardoso highlighted the constitution of the association and his having resolved some social problems concerning the affiliates.
During the ceremony, chaired by the general assembly table chairperson, Dionísio de Almeida, the affiliates praised the work done by the outgoing management they want to stay put.
