Lobito — The representative of the National Union of Artists and Composers (UNAC) in Lobito, central Benguela province, Francisco Domingos, over the weekend appealed to fellow artists to get organised under associations with a view to success of singular and collective projects.

The official who is also a musician was speaking at a meeting with representatives of theatre groups in the region.

He said the organisation of cultural agents facilitates the access to financial and material assistance that are indispensable for the success of research and divulging projects.

During the meeting, the participants expressed their concern about the lack of rooms for presentation of shows and appealed to UNAC to contact with the officials responsible for cinemas in order to address the problem.
