Angola: Country Beat Niger, But Fail to Qualify for World Cup

Luanda — The Angolan senior males football squad on Sunday in Luanda beat Niger by 3-1, in the last match of group 3 qualifier for the 2010 World Cup.

Although the Angola team won the game, the result was insufficient to avoid disqualification from the 2010 world championship race.

The goals of the match, disputed in Coqueiros Stadium, were scored by Moussa for Niger, at the 20th minute of the encounter, whereas the host team's goals were scored by Kassali (self inflicted goal at 53 minutes), Gilberto (68) and Zé Kalanga (73).
