Lubango — The fisherman Alberto Alves, representative of Huambo Province, on Friday won the International Sportfishing Tournament, which took place in the southern Angolan Province of Huila.

The subsequent positions were occupied by Patrick Ailton (from Huíla) and Roque Fidalgo (Huambo Province).

The tournament, which was competed on Kutato and Kubango rivers, was organised by Huambo's Tiro Club, and had the participation of 90 athletes from Angola, Portugal, Russia, South Africa, Namibia, USA and Germany.
