14 October 2008

Luanda — The women wing of the Angolan ruling party (OMA) recently here launched a fund-raising campaign to help the victims of typhoons Gustav and Ike that hit the Latin American country of Cuba, last August and September.

According to a communiqué sent to Angop on Thursday, in order to express its solidarity towards the people of Cuba, OMA called on Angolan women to embrace the campaign, by donating money and goods to help those affected by the natural disaster.

The funds should be deposited in the accounts number: 0001.214057/011 in the Banco de Poupança e Crédito (BPC) and 11272203.10.001 (Kwanzas) and 11272203.32.001 (USD) in the Banco Internacional de Credito (BIC).
