Asmara — Eritrean nationals residing in 13 German cities reaffirmed their readiness to enhance contribution in support of the national development drive in the Homeland.
In a meeting that was held in Manheim city on October 11, members of the Eritrean community, MeKete Committee, NUEW and PFDJ youths in central Germany took part. The participants charted action program aimed at meeting challenges through strengthening the relations between national associations and Eritrean communities, as well as in facilitating the nation-building process.
The head of public and community affairs in the Eritrean Embassy to Germany, Mr. Berhane Zere, gave briefings to the participants of the meeting on the objective situation in the Homeland and effective work methodology on the part of associations.
The participants reiterated their commitment to live up to the nation's expectation. Representatives of national associations in Northern and Western Germany also held a similar meeting in Vupertal City.
