This followed the official unveiling of the two mobiles at a glamorous ceremony held at the Sheraton Hotel & Towers, Ikeja, Lagos.

Speaking at the event, the Managing Director, Samsung Electronics Nigeria Ltd., Mr. James You, said that the production of the two mobile phones was as a result of the global electronics and mobile phone giant's commitment to delivering quality products to its customers.

He said that Samsung as an entity, is built on innovation DNA to ensure that it's loyal customers are never out of touch with the latest technological advancements.

He added that Samsung already has a full range of consumer-centric and very profitable mobile phones that will help customers grow their businesses even as he stated the company's commitment to driving tomorrow's business successes today. He said that this was why it came up with the L700 and B130T phones.
