Eritrea: Visiting Italian Tourists Laud the Virgin Biodiversity in the Islands And the Country's Salubrious Weather

Asmara — Visiting Italian tourists said that Eritrea possesses breathtaking islands endowed with virgin biodiversity, coupled with salubrious weather and hospitable people.

The tourists who visited different Eritrean islands, historical sites and towns told ERINA that they were impressed with the hospitality accorded them by the people and service-rendering institutions.

One of the visitors, Ms. Giorgia Fiechter stated that although she had enough information about Asmara, she was highly impressed with the charm of the city after personally witnessing it.

Still another Italian tourist, Mr. Fabio Tranquini, expressed admiration to the neatness and the historical building of Asmara. He also highly appraised the unpolluted and rich biodiversity in the Eritrean islands and added that the country is attractive to tourists.

Mr. Ugo Fiechter who visited Eritrea for the second time said on his part that he was born in Asmara and expressed admiration to the hospitality of the Eritrean people. Mr. Ugo further stated that he previously visited different historical places, Barentu town and the Southern Red Sea region.

The Italian tourists visited the towns of Keren, Massawa, Senafe, islands and other historical sites.
