Angola: Coalition Defends Fair Income Distribution to Country's Regions

Luanda — The parliamentary bench of coalition New Democracy (ND) has defended the need of the Government to outline policies that enable a fair distribution of the national income to the regions with the low percentage of public investment.

This standing was defended Wednesday by the leader of the ND's parliamentary bench, Quintino de Moreira, when addressing the solemn session of the opening of the II legislative period, held at the Congress palace in Luanda.

The politician mentioned the distribution of clean drinking water, electrical energy, enlarging of health and education network as well as the access to the arable land, among other services, suggesting the setting of proper national minimum salary to satisfy these basic needs.

The MP called for joint effort to ensure the development and the good quality of the citizens living conditions.

ND has two seats in the Parliament.
