Angola: Chinese Leader Congratulates New Premier

Luanda — The Angolan Prime Minister, Anto'nio Paulo Kassoma, was congratulated by the head of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, Wen Jiabao, in a message made available to Angop on Thursday in Luanda.

The Chinese leader congratulated Antonio Paulo Kassoma for his nomination to the post of Premier, wishing him "successes in the execution of the noble mission". Wen Jiabao expressed his availability to work towards the strengthening of friendship relations between the two peoples and Governments.

He also expresses the availability to "exert tireless efforts" for the deepening of the cooperation, specially focussed on the national reconstruction.

"China and Angola are united for traditional friendship and strengthened cooperation relations", (...) with "a very great perspective", reads the message.

AntÃ'nio Paulo Kassoma was appointed Prime Minister of Angola last month, after the legislative elections held on 05 September, won by MPLA.
