Angola: Youth House Trains Over 56,000 People

At least 56,106 young people have been trained in Youth House, located in Viana district, in Luanda, attributing them an own value as moving force of any society.

According to the director of the establishment, João Dias Pereira, during two years since the creation of the institution, were lectured courses that enabled computer training of 821 youths, being 404 women.

During the training were lectured 139 students in basic accounting, advanced module for basic business (159) and English (159). At the moment at least 53 people are attending literacy lessons.

The objective of the courses, considered the director, is to keep them busy, training them, finding out their problems, to work in order for them to change their attitudes and behaviours towards the development of the country.
