Luanda — Benfica de Luanda on Friday beat Sagrada Esperança by 2-1, at Coqueiros stadium, in proceeding with the 24th round of the national first division soccer tournament (Girabola2008), and reduced the gap with the fourth placed team, Santos FC.
Benfica scored through Lukosi and Eric, at 30 and 36 minutes, respectively, whilst Sagrada reduced through Fatite, at 63 minutes.
With this result, Benfica de Luanda now has 37 points (fifth placed), less one than Santos FC, fourth, whilst Sagrada Esperança continues in the relegation zone in the 11th position (24 points).
