Luanda — The senior female volleyball team of 1º de Agosto won last Saturday the 22nd edition of the national championship of volleyball, after beating Petro de Luanda for three sets against two, after a draw in the play-off game, in the last of three matches.

The players of 1º de Agosto were losing in the first two sets with the partials of 13-25 and 23-25.

During the third set Petro de Luanda lost the hope, having lost by 25-19.

The team of 1º de Agosto did not give chances to the adversary, by levelling and changing the score with the partials of 25-21 and 16-14, which allowed 1º de Agosto to win their 22nd edition of the national volleyball tournament.

The female and male teams of 1º de Agosto are titles winners, since they beat Petro de Luanda in the final, in both sexes.

Thus, Petro de Luanda ended in the second position of the championship.
