Huambo — Petro de Luanda on Sunday isolated itself in the lead of the first phase of the national men's roller hockey championship, with 12 points, by beating Juventude de Viana by 7-4 at "Osvaldo Serra Van-Dúnen" pavilion, in Huambo city, in a highlight match of the competition's 4th round.
Petro de Luanda, with a victory already predictable, faced various difficulties to beat the national champions who were ahead by 1-0 at halftime through a goal scored by Patrício Molina.
In the second half, Petro was looking for the equaliser and had success when Maturano levelled the scores at 30 minutes, and then three minutes later, Rui Miguel increased to 2-1 in favour of Juventude de Viana.
Back in disadvantage, Petro de Luanda fought well and scored two goals through Lucas Cristal and Coxe, at 38 and 40 minutes of the match.
Petro de Luanda's advantage did not last long as Edgar Kuenha, restored the draw at 45 minutes, when everything seemed as if everything had been solved.
Petro's victory was decided in the last three minutes when Zé das Botas and Kirro scored two goals each.
