Kampala — Indoor residual spraying of mosquitoes that cause malaria using Icon is set to kick off in seven north-eastern districts starting with Katakwi.
The exercise is aimed at reducing the high malaria prevalence cases in the Teso sub region.
Pilgrims, a non governmental organization is to carry out the exercise.
Pilgrim Managing director, Anthony Esenu says Katakwi has the highest malaria prevalence rate which currently stands at 63%.
