Luanda — The 24th round of the first division national males football championship was marked by a 1-1 draw between two contenders for the title, 1º de Agosto and Petro de Luanda, as well as by the defeat of the relegation risk teams of Petro do Huambo and Benfica do Lubango.

The round was opened at 22 Julho Stadium, where the title holders Interclube did not go beyond a 1-1 draw with Recreativo do Libolo.

Santana (Petro de Luanda) and Love (1º de Agosto) are leading the list of best scorers with 16 and 15 goals respectively.

Petro de Luanda with 52 points need one point to win the championship trophy, which they last received in 2001.

1º de Agosto come second with 46 points.
