Luanda — The members of the coaching team of the national soccer squad will be announced next week during a press conference by the chairperson of the Angolan Football Federation (FAF), Justino Fernandes.
Angop learnt on Tuesday from the secretary general of the country's soccer governing body August Silva "Alvarito", who explained that the federation management is studying several hypothesises about the members of the future coaching team, avoiding giving more details.
Presently Mabi de Almeida is the caretaker coach of "Palancas Negras", after the dismissal of Oliveira Goncalves due to bad scores.
Former assistant coach of national team, Mabi led the national squad 3-1 win over Niger on October 12 in Luanda at the "Coqueiros Stadium, for the last qualifier for the 2010 World Cup, to occur in South Africa.
Meanwhile a source from the federation told Angop that Mabi de Almeida will continue to lead Palanca Negras at least until next year January, and as such he will have to conduct the team' matches scheduled by FIFA and during the qualification for the Africa-home based players championship, set for next February in Côte d'Ivoire.
