Angola: Luanda Governor Regrets TPA Journalist's Death

Luanda — Luanda governor, Francisca do Espírito Santo, Tuesday in Luanda expressed deep regret at the death of the journalist of State-owned Television Station (TPA) Nelson Pâncio.

According to a press release distributed to ANGOP, Francisca do Espírito Santo refers that it was with pain the Luanda Provincial Government (GPL) took notice of the unfortunate occurrence.

"The GPL extends the deepest sense of grief to the family, journalist class and TPA", concluded the document.

In addition to the Luanda's governor, the Angolan diplomatic representation to Greece and the Managing Board of Catoca's Mining Society also addressed their message of condolence over the passing away of Nelson André Pâncio, occurred on Monday in Luanda's Military Hospital, victim of disease.

Born on 02 October 1959, in eastern Moxico province, Nelson Pâncio joined the Television Station on 28 March, 1986.
