Luanda — The current state of sports and its views shall this Wednesday be analysed, here, at a meeting between the Angolan minister of Youth and Sports, Gonçalves Muandumba, and the chairpersons of national federations, ANGOP learnt.
The meeting, first of the kind since the minister of Youth and Sports was nominated, in the light of the September 05, 2008 legislative elections, shall be held as from 04pm at Alvalade hotel, in the Angolan capital, Luanda.
The minister, who replaced Marcos Barrica, will on Thursday visit the headquarters of the Organising Committee of the African Cup of Nations (COCAN).
Angola will host the biggest continental football competition (CAN) in 2010.
The official will be briefed on the preparations of the vent (CAN 2010), mainly in what concerns the construction and rehabilitation of infrastructures in host cities, namely Luanda, Benguela, Cabinda and Huíla.
