After 24 years of successfully protecting over 7000 homes, including commercial and industrial buildings, with approximately 15 million square feet of surface area installed in the Americas and Europe, CHIC Liquid Vinyl has finally been introduced on the Ghanaian market by GHIC Ghana Limited, to provide lasting solution to building owners.

With well trained professionals from the parent company, CHIC Liquid Vinyl Systems, Canada, who would in turn train other professional in the country, home owners would no longer having to worry, as their problems of finding a lasting solution to protecting their homes are over.

The president of CHIC Ghana Limited, Kofi Boateng and David Bender, son of Stan Bender, owner of CHIC Liquid Vinyl System, launched the product in Accra, over the weekend.

CHIC Liquid Vinyl is not paint, but is a co-polymer coating system that provides a beautiful and easy to clean surface that weatherproofs and protects exterior walls. This enables the walls to last longer than when painted.

Mr. Boateng, in his explanation on how best CHIC Liquid Vinyl performs, told a group of media practitioners that the product is a high breathable one that prevents moisture from becoming trapped in the wall, which is the leading cause of coating failure from blistering and peeling.

He said the extreme thickness of the product, consistently fills the crack, which seals the rain and moisture out, while at the same time, and seals the cooling and heating energy system in the home.

"CHIC remains flexible over the years, allowing the walls to expand and contract without the cracks returning", he said.

As to how best the product would withstand the harsh weather conditions in the country and other parts of the continent, David Bender said "CHIC has proven to be resistant to all weather conditions around the world. The weather condition in Vancouver -Canada, is the same as that of Ghana and the rest of the African continent.

The product is resistant to sunlight and effectively resists both premature aging and colour fading".

According to him, CHIC is non-toxic formula that contains no heavy metal fungicides and is environmentally friendly, exceeding all EPA standards.

CHIC has three coat system, namely -CHIC U prime, CHIC Top Coat (2) that ensures optimum installation quality.
