Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) recovered from their recent 0-1 loss to lowly Bororboro, beating new comers Youfra 6-0 in a Super League tie played yesterday evening at Namboole.
As the tax collectors strolled over the Lira side, Bunnamwaya were also at it, scoring the same number of goals against Kakira FC but conceded one at Nakivubo.
A whitewash looked possible so early with former SC Villa striker Ismail Kigozi tapping in URA's first just after four minutes from an Eric Obua pass.
Six minutes later, Obua had bagged a brace before Dan Wagaluka made 4-0 from the spot at the stroke of halftime after he had been pulled down in the box.
With a more relaxed approach after recess, URA knocked the ball around, giving midfileders Patrick Ochan and Tonny Mawejje chances to complete the rout.
The win ensured that two- time champions URA climbed to second on the table with 24 points, one behind leaders Simba SC. At Nakivubo, Yudah Mugalu opened Bunnamwaya's account with a brace and Ceaser Okhuti made it 3-0 at the dot of half time.
Owen Kasule, Robert Kimuli and Boban Zirintusa grabbed one each to ensure that Bunnamwaya climb to fifth position, toppling SC Villa. Ibrahim Segere got Kakira's consolation, one minute to normal time. League action resumes today with troubled defending champions KCC against Sharing at Nakivubo stadium.
