Between Agbede Transformer and Agbede Olorogbo are black spots in Ikorodu as a result of the activities of Indian hemp smokers in the area. Residents complained that as early as 6.30am, these smokers are seen oozing thick smoke of Indian hemp into the air. They are also a nuisance to the community because most times, they snatch motorbikes from cyclists. There are also cases of stealing pots of soup from people's homes, robbery and other kinds of criminal activities taking place in the area, which makes the security of lives and property uncertain.
Presently, many of the residents are living in fear of the unknown due to the immoral actions of the boys. They no longer have peace of mind because none of the landlords in the area can confront these Indian hemp smokers, as they will resort to a free-for-all fight.
Residents in the area are calling on the enforcement agents to see to the total removal of these Indian hemp smokers, who are also street urchins in the area.
