Luanda — The chairperson of the Angolan Federation of Cycling (FACI), Diógenes de Oliveira, defended Wednesday in Luanda, the need for the Ministry of Youth and Sports (MJD) to give more supports to local clubs.
Speaking to Angop, after the meeting with the management of the MJD, led by the minister Gonçalves Muandumba and the sports federation, he said that the clubs do not have resources and that without the support from the provincial governments they are forced to resort to federations.
The official also said that it is necessary that the federations present concrete proposals that will help MJD management to reflect about the necessity for a greater aid to the local clubs.
