Luanda — The progress of the urbanisation project in Zango ward, in Viana district, here, this Thursday was evaluated by the Angolan Head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, during his field work.
In the Zango ward, the President was briefed on the urbanisation project which expects to build 51 flats with 15 floors and with 112 apartments each.
From this number of metallic and concrete-made buildings, six are in a conclusion phase, while the other four already have three floors built.
Still in the framework of the first phase of this project, 16 buildings are in an initial phase.
The construction works of 26 other buildings is already underway, in the light of the Zango of reclassification project that is expected to be concluded by December 2009.
The aforementioned project started in July 2007 and also comprises the construction of hospitals, areas for commerce, leisure, sports, schools, kindergartens, markets, and commercial centres, areas of administration services, banks, police stations, hotels, telecommunications systems and fuel stations, among others.
