Kigali — Rwanda Rugby Federation (RRF)'s Secretary General, Janvier Ugeziwe, is in Dakar, Senegal to take part in the Confederation of Africa Rugby (CAR)'s Annual General Meeting.
Ugeziwe, who flew out yesterday morning aboard Ethiopian Airlines, will represent Rwanda in the day-long meeting scheduled for this Saturday.
The trip was boosted by the Ministry of Sports and Culture (MINISPOC) which parted with USD1000 to facilitate the official.
Before his departure, Ugeziwe underscored that it was a big milestone for Rwanda to be part of this meeting.
"The meeting is not just about reviewing this year's activities. It is also about drafting next year's calendar," he said before commending MINISPOC for its financial support.
In a related development, one of the country's top rugby clubs, Sharks has put in place a website (www.kigalisharksrfc.com) to readily inform the world of all the club's day to day activities as well as news flashes of Rwandan rugby.
