Luanda — The Angolan Commerce minister, Maria Idalina de Oliveira Valente, expressed her satisfaction last Saturday, in Luanda, with the inauguration of new facilities of the Machines and Equipment Society Ltd - Cimertex, for it will provide training in industrial mechanic and consequently help in the acquisition of quality employment through new skills.
Speaking to ANGOOP, the Commerce minister was happy with the fact that Angolan people can specialise in assistance and re-fitting of parts and equipment in a maximum of 48 hours.
To the minister, with this specialisation of the Angolan labour, there will be more productivity in developing projects underway in the country, mainly in the infrastructure areas of roads, railways and diamonds, as well as in the domains of agriculture and energy.
According to the government official, this will particularly enable the saving of many of the country's resources, having into account that in the past a lot of the equipment was acquired by institutions that operate in the country without guarantee of parts replacement and technical assistance after sale.
The minister said that Cimertex has been fulfilling the law regarding the commercial activity in Angola which establishes rules related to the supply of goods, services and warranty of sold equipment and technical assistance after sale.
Idalina Valente said that the emergence of other companies such as Cimertex, within legal standards and capable of developing actions turned to the growth of Angola are very much welcome and needed.
Cimertex is a medium dimension enterprise, which represents the Japan international brand Komastu and it has a fully equipped training centre which will receive in January a Japanese technical expert to assess the training process.
