Luanda — The new governor of the southern Cunene province, António Ditalelua, will be presented this Saturday by the minister of Territory Administration, Virgílio de Fontes Pereira.
The delegation that departed this Saturday to that region comprises the minister of Hotels and Tourism, Pedro Mutinde, outgoing minister of Cunene province in order to hand over to portfolio to his substitute.
In brief declarations to ANGOP at "4 de Fevereiro" internaitonal airport, António Ditalelua said that "there is great expectations on the part of people wishing to know what to do, but I know that there is a programmed well defined by our party (ruling MPLA), the governance programme for the next four years".
He continued by added that "it is based in this programme that his board will solve the problem of water, electricity, reduce hunger and poverty, education, health and other problems".
The official said that control and management shall be stricter so as to fulfil the percentages established in the governance programme.
António Ditalelua, who is a native of Kuanhama district, southern Cunene province, was a seminarian and has a degree in Mathematics from the Higher Institute of Educational Sciences (ISCED) of Lubango city from 1980 to 1985, and another in London from 1992 to 1999, and waits to defend his doctorate thesis in economics.
