Luanda — The minister of Youth and Sports, Gonçalves Muandumba, this Thursday here affirmed that there are some constraints in the endowment of fund in the light of the organisation of the African Cup of Nations "CAN210", to be held in Angola, but besides this he is pleased with what has already been done.
Speaking to journalists at the end of a meeting with the management board of the event's Organising Committee "COCAN", the official expressed conviction that financial problems will be solved in order for the continental competition to happen is an exemplary manner, as recommended by the Head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos.
Gonçalves Muandumba said he liked the explanations he received from the director general of COCAN, Justino Fernandes, regarding the construction of infrastructures, marketing plan, opening and closing ceremonies and logistics, among others.
He reaffirmed the government's availability to fulfil its obligation, and referred that organising committee shall be in charge of implementing tasks within the established deadlines.
The four stadiums started being built last January. The stadium of Luanda province shall have a capacity for 50,000 spectators, Benguela (35,000), Huambo (20,000) and Cabinda (20,000).
The infrastrures shall have technological and computing means capable of hosting over 1,000 journalists.
