Angola: Federation Thanks Head of State for Support

Luanda — Angolan head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, was praised Thursday in Luanda for the support extended to the development of skate hockey in the country.

The praise came from the Angola Skate Hockey Federation (FAP) chairman, Carlos Alberto Jaime, during the swearing-in for the 2009 -2012 term.

He said on the occasion that the head of State is a great booster of the sport, one of the most represented in international competitions.

"In addition to our personal effort, the development of hockey is also owed to engineer José Eduardo dos Santos who is also a sportsman and has been playing a crucial role for the wellbeing of the sport," said Carlos Alberto Jaime.
