Ondjiva — The provincial health director in Cunene province, Eduardo Haiumba, Friday in Ondjiva exhorted parents to take their children to the immunization posts, then to the health units next to their houses.
The official call was made at the opening act of the fourth national campaign of vaccination against poliomyelitis, which provides vaccines for 91,043 children from zero to five years old.
According to him, parents should be concerned about the health of their children and take advantage of this vaccination campaign, to avoid a paralysis or other diseases.
The fixed posts are located in all health units in the six districts of the province, also were installed in localities of the several movements of the population, schools, religious institutes, police units and military barracks.
