Luanda — Angola's Cabinet Council Friday in Luanda held its second extraordinary session to discuss the National Plan of the Government and the Bill of General State Budget for 2009.
Chaired by the President of the Republic, José Eduardo dos Santos, the meeting postponed for the next session of the government's collegial organ the discussion, in depth, of the two Bills, for their approval.
The government was briefed on the 2008 Award of National Prize of Culture and Arts, as well as of resumption of oil operation at Bloc 18, stopped since last August, due to the technical breakdown.
Before the Cabinet Council's meeting, the Angolan head of State swore in the new government officials who were recently appointed.
