Nairobi — The Government has formed an inter-ministerial team to resolve the conflict over Migingo island in Lake Victoria.
Fisheries Development minister Paul Otuoma on Friday said they were jointly addressing the issue with the Foreign Affairs, Internal Security and Provincial Administration ministries.
Kenya and Uganda are locked in a tussle over the island, with each side claiming ownership. He will lead a team to Uganda to discuss the issue.
