Cabinda — Olga Calisto, aged 23, was elected as Miss Cabinda/2009, in a ceremony that took place last Saturday at Chiloango Cultural Centre.

Olga Calisto received as prize one brand new car, a trip to Portugal and USD 6,000, among other things. She also won the Miss Photogenic trophy.

As Miss Photogenic, she was awarded a mobile phone and 300 US dollars.

The First Runner-up, Jercinalda da Silva, received as prize one mobile phone, a beauty treatment, satellite television kit, health care at Lubmed clinic, plasma tv set, a trip to South Africa and USD 300.

The Second Runner-up, Joana António, received a mobile phone, hair treatment and computer course amounted at USD 1, 500.

Isabel Fineza was elected as Miss Friendly and was awarded a mobile phone, computer course and USD 300.

The gala was enlivened by the singers Mika Mendes of Cape Verde, Kaysha from the Democratic Republic of Congo and Soumia from France.
