26 October 2008

Luanda — A total of 10,500 copies of the third solo album of Angolan singer Caló Pascoal "Esperança Sagrada", was sold Sunday by Luanda's Cine Atlântico Gate.

With 16 tracks, "Esperança Sagrada", produced by "Quebra Galho" and "Just Jay", presents some melodic difference comparing with the previous two Cd's, mainly for the inclusion of Afro-jazz.

The album includes kizomba, semba and sungura.

In this production, the singer counted on the participation of various Cape Verdean singers such as Dobs Lopes, Johnny Ramos, Johnny Fonseca, Dina Medina and Grace Évora.
