Uganda: Sweet Temptations At Wedding Expo

27 October 2008

It is always difficult to impress people at weddings. Either your décor was not up scratch, or the "free" food and drinks failed to excite the taste buds. Well, on Saturday at the Garden City roof top, people got tips on what works for weddings in these areas.

Guests enjoyed delicious cake as they listened to relaxing music and feasted their eyes on the wonderful décor. The aim of the expo was to encourage people to vote for their favourite exhibitor, who will then stand a chance to be a part of the dream wedding that one lucky couple is going to be treated to courtesy of V&A sherry and My Wedding magazine.

Pink coconut won the slot to be the decorators for the day, while Divine Touch were announced as the lucky caterers and Baxmba waves as the providers of entertainment on the big day. As weddings are known for surprises, the day had a few shockers of its own. Latoya and Sheila who were both recently evicted from BBA3 dropped by to get a bit of action. Before they left, Sheila made it a point to thank us for the expo because according to her the Tanzanian Latoya is going to marry Morris when he gets out of the house.
