Angola: Margareth Do Rosario's Latest CD Sold, Autographed

Benguela — Angolan singer Margareth do Rosario last week carried out, in the central Benguela province, two sessions of selling and signing autographs of her latest album entitled "Em Nova Dimensão", released into the national music hall last October 11.

In declarations to ANGOP, the expressed satisfaction at the public's turnout on Saturday at the gate of Morena comercial radio station in Benguela city and on Sunday at Shoprite supermarket's entrance hall in Lobito, respectively, foreseeing to purchase an original copy of the CD that contains 13 tracks sung in Portuguese languages, as well as in the kikongo, umbundo, kimbundo and crioulo vernacular languages.

According to the singer, 1,500 out of the 20,000 copies were made available to the public at the price of 1,000 Angolan Kwanzas each.

Margareth stressed that she will continue travelling to other provinces so that every CD is sold as soon as possible, a reason why the idea is to distribute the musical work nationwide.

On the other side, she emphasized that the CD includes diverse and pleasant songs in the semba, zouk, kizomba, coladera and morna music styles.

In Sumbe district, coastal Kwanza Sul province, the singer sold and signed autographs on about 300 copies of the same CD.
