Luanda — Angolan DJ Kadu will release in the first week of December, at the gate of Atlântico cinema, in Luanda, his first album entitled "Zig-zig".
The album, with ten tracks topped by the kizomba and semba music styles, was produced in one year and three months, at the studios "Kriativa e Xicote" productions, in Luanda, Virtual Estúdio and Mix Down (Portugal) and Just Jay Entertainment (Netherlands).
Also recorded at a French studio, the CD highlights tracks such as "Mónica exótica", "Mulata enganadora", "Raxa-tarracha, "Poeta", "Avilo rebenta" and "Zig-zig", album's promotional song.
Speaking to ANGOP this Monday, DJ Kadu said that for his debut CD he invited prominent musicians of the African Portuguese Speaking Countries (PALOP), such as the Angolans Yuri da Cunha, Matias Damásio, Daniel Nascimento, Rei Hélder and the Cape Verdean Jonny Ramos.
According to the musician, head disc jockey of Luanda nightclub in Lisbon (Portugal), he selected these singers so as to grant more quality and acceptance by the public.
Irineu Alberto da Cunha "DJ Kadu", of 23 years old, a native of Luanda residing in Lisbon for about ten years, is brother to the renowned Angolan musician, Yuri da Cunha.
