Luanda — The national under-18 male squad of basketball won a silver medal after they lost, Sunday, in Alexandria, Egypt, to the host during the final of the African championship by 84-85.
To secure the final phase, the athletes, coached by Carlos Diniz, beat Nigeria 71-65, and have qualified for the world championship scheduled for June, 2009 in New Zealand.
