Luanda — The Angolan prime minister, Paulo Kassoma, is presiding over this Monday, here, a meeting of the National Commission on Disarmament, designed to assess the activity carried out.
ANGOP learnt that participants to this gathering will discuss about a proposal to increase the commission's budget for the rest of the year, as well as the prediction for 2009.
The ministers of Home Affairs, Roberto Leal Monteiro "Ngongo", Justice, Guilhermina Prata, Finance, Severim de Morais, Assistance and Social Welfare, João Baptista Kussumua, Family and Women Promotion, Genoveva Policarpo, Education, Burity da Silva, and of Youth and Sports, Gonçalves Muadumba, are attending the meeting.
The deputy ministers of Territory Administration, Graciano Domingos, Public Works, Johanes André, Foreign Affairs, George Chicoty, and of Social Communication, Manuel Miguel de Carvalho "Wadijimbi", are also participating in the event.
Set to end this Monday, the meeting is also being attended by the chief of staff of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA), general Francisco Pereira Furtado, among other top military and National Police officers.
