Nigeria: How Country Can Become Leading Economy, By Shonekan

Former Head of Interim National Government, Chief Ernest Shonekan yesterday, in Abuja, said that Nigeria cannot realise its potentials to be a leading global economy until she is ready to embrace new ideas and structures proven to generate growth and modernisation in other successful economies.

He spoke on a day Vice President Jonathan Goodluck re-echoed the importance of understanding the principle of concessions by stakeholders and key government officials now that government is involving the private sector in the country's infrastructural development.
