Luanda — Angolan prime-minister, António Paulo Kassoma, Tuesday in Luanda received a message from his Guinea-Bissau counterpart, Carlos Correia, on deepening of cooperation ties between the two Portuguese-speaking countries.
The letter was delivered by the special envoy of Guinea-Bissau's prime- minister, Manuel dos Santos, who arrived on Monday in Luanda, for a four-day stay.
Manuel dos Santos told the press that the West African nation is moving toward political stability and believes that the holding of legislative elections in Guinea Bissau, set for next 16 November, will be an important factor for the country.
The special envoy, who expressed optimism about the victory of his PAIGC party, in the forthcoming elections, stated that the Guineans were happy with the elections held in Angola on 05 September, congratulating the ruling MPLA party, 50-year long ally, for the victory of the polls.
"Whenever I come to Angola I can notice enormous effort focussed on development and rehabilitation of economic infrastructures", concluded the Guinean prime-minister.
