Cabinda — About 115 tons of coffee were harvested in the current agricultural season in the northern Cabinda Province, said to ANGOP this Wednesday the head of the department for coffee in this region, João Tati Luemba.
Speaking to ANGOP, the official said that Buco Zau District and Tando Zinze commune were the regions that recorded the highest coffee production, in the current harvest.
According to João Tati Luemba, the agricultural sector had expected to collect 120 tons, but due to various difficulties, it was not possible to achieve the outlined goal.
The official said that 147 coffee growing families benefited from a micro credit granted by the National Coffee Institute (INCA), in order to boost the production of this product in the region.
The amount of money released by INCA varies from 100 to 900 US dollars.
