Monrovia — Dr. Togba-Nah Tipoteh, Leader of the Movement for Justice in Africa (MOJA) and 2005 presidential candidate in Liberia, says Senator Barack Obama will be the next President of the United States of America.
Dr. Tipoteh is predicting that Senator Obama will win the United States Presidential Elections scheduled for next month, November 4.
Wearing an Obama's T-shirt, Dr. Tipoteh made the declaration when he was asked by journalists over the weekend, to predict the outcome of the pending US presidential elections.
He expressed optimism that Mr. Obama will win for three reasons - firstly, most Americans want peace rather than war and they believe that Senator Obama's leadership will bring peace.
Secondly, most Americans believe that mismanagement under the Bush administration has led to the present financial crisis in the world and that Senator Obama's leadership will make the global economy better, and finally, most Americans prefer the cool, calm, mature, honest and confident way that Senator Obama handles issues and problems, the astute Liberian politician commonly referred to as 'the only man on the groud' averred.
It can be recalled that Dr. Tipoteh gave his support to Senator Obama at the beginning of this year and called upon his American colleagues, friends and sympathizers to vote for Senator Barack Obama.
