Cape Coast — The Deputy National Youth Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Ludwig Hlodze, has described President John Agyekum Kufuor as a lazy man who was not ready to do hard work when the PNDC called him to duty in the early 1980's, when the economy was in total shambles.
Hlodze claimed that President Kufuor, who was appointed by chairman Rawlings as Secretary of Local government served for only seven months and "ran away", having realized that the load of work expected of him to save the country from collapsing was too heavy. "He left all the work on the PNDC government, which was in power at that time", he said.
