Uganda: Musonye in Kampala for Cecafa Challenge Cup Preparations

Kampala — Council for East and Central Africa Football Associations (Cecafa) Secretary General Nicholas Musonye will meet a Fufa-appointed committee this afternoon to discuss preparations for the forthcoming regional tournament.

Fufa Vice-president in charge of Finance Jowali Kyeyago has been appointed to head the eight-man local organising committee that also has Richard Barigye (protocol), Col Jackson Bell Tushabe (secrutity), Asuman Lubowa (technical), Rogers Mulindwa (media), Eng Moses Magogo (secretariat), Dr Dick Kisolo (medical) and Samuel Mpiima (marketing and sponsorship).

Musonye will take the officials through an orientation course to enable them acquire the necessary skills to organise a successful event. He will also inspect facilities at Namboole, Nakivubo and Bugembe stadiums. The tourney begins December 31.
