Luanda — Angolan folk music band Ndengues do Kota Duro will present their latest album this weekend in the northern Malanje Province, where they are to hold two selling sessions of the CD and sign autographs.
The fact was announced by Alcas Fernandes, head of Woofer Áudio editors, stating that the first sale session is scheduled for Saturday in Turismo Cinema. The second session happens on Sunday at Cacuso Municipal Administration, homeland of the band members.
Two thousand copies are available for presentation of the work entitled "Ima Ya Kuxa".
Five thousand copies of the product was distributed in the market by Woofer Áudio, with 3,300 units already sold so far, according to data from the editor.
Recorded in Angola and mixed in Portugal, the album has ten tracks and features participations of the artists Correia Miguel and Pedrito.
The country's folkloric rhythms bukula, katutula, kaxaxatela and kandanda, all from Malanje Province, were included in this work.
