Luanda — The four football stadiums under construction in the provinces of Luanda, Benguela, Huíla and Cabinda will be complete between September and Outober 2009.

This was confirmed Thursday in Luanda by the spokesman for the ministerial committee of the Organising Commission of the African Cup of Nations (COCAN2010), Manuel Mariano.

The official was speaking to journalists at the end of a meeting of the organising committee, chaired by the prime minister, AntÃ'nio Paulo Kassoma, in his capacity as coordinator.

The meeting, the first under the coordinator, analysed the report on the activity carried out until the 3rd quarter of 2006, on the 2008 and 2009 budget programme and other topics.

Matters related to telecommunications and marketing policies were also discussed at the meeting.

Attending the meeting were the ministers of Youth and Sports, Gonçalves Muandumba, and Interior, Roberto Leal Monteiro "Ngongo".

The deputy ministers of Public Works, Johanes Andre, Finance, Cruz Neto, Sports, Albino da Conceição, Social Communication, Manuel Miguel de Carvalho, and Angola Football Federation (FAF) officials, were also at the gathering.
